CronDrive

Terms of service

Last updated: October 17, 2026

Who we are

CronDrive (crondrive.com) is a service of Jean Droguett, an individual based in Chile. You can write to us at contact@crondrive.com.

The service

CronDrive monitors cron jobs. Your jobs call our API when they start and when they end, and we alert you by email, Slack or the webhooks you set up when a run fails, doesn't start, doesn't finish or doesn't run at all within the minutes the job allows.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Keep your email up to date, because that's where we send alerts and account notices. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for what is done with it, including through the API tokens you create.

Plans, trial and payment

CronDrive has a free plan and paid plans, with the limits and prices shown on our pricing page. Prices are in US dollars, and taxes may be added depending on your country.

Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the first payment is charged when the trial ends, and then at the start of each billing period, monthly or yearly, until you cancel.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Paddle processes the payments, issues the invoices, charges the applicable taxes and answers questions about billing and refunds. Its buyer terms also apply to your purchase. For help with CronDrive itself, write to contact@crondrive.com.

If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before, and the new price will apply from your next billing period.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and then your account moves to the free plan, with its limits.

To cancel, use the link to manage your subscription in the payment receipt from Paddle, or look up your subscription at paddle.net. You can also write to contact@crondrive.com and we will cancel it for you.

Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Acceptable use

When you use CronDrive, you agree not to:

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. Unless the case is urgent, we will write to you first.

Availability and liability

We work to keep CronDrive running and to send every alert, but we can't guarantee that the service will always be available or free of errors. CronDrive helps you detect problems; it doesn't replace your own backups or the monitoring of critical systems.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Closing your account

You can stop using CronDrive at any time. To delete your account and its data, write to contact@crondrive.com from the email you use to log in.

Changes to these terms

If we make an important change to these terms, we will tell you by email before it applies. If you keep using CronDrive after that, you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Chile. This doesn't take away the rights that consumer protection laws of your country give you.
